Before I left Vietnam,[ I was due for discharge and came earlier than all my men], I said to them "look'; there is something wrong with us; I can't tell you what it is ; but it is a sensing". That sensing was P.T.S.D. I had kept all ,my field diaries and they were to be invaluable to nail my Government in the years to come. It became apparent that I was right and I was NOT alone; there were hundreds like me. The field diaries were issued to all N.C.O's and I recorded "everything" [ when we were sprayed etc.][ and every battle casualty].

Just a country boy from Bathurst N.S.W. Bathurst was the first major town established after the mountain range [ known as the great dividing range was crossed]; It is now a CITY.
