I have been rated at 60% disability from the va and I am on ssdisability because of my asbestosis and heart disease. My 60% is for asbestosis. Ihave sent my form in for IU.I have not worked since 2008 and instructed by my doctors not to work anymore.Does anyone think that my chances of getting IU is good.thank you for any help.

I dont know much about it, so I read... and like most things VA I still dont know anything about it! haha.

that link provided a lot of insight. After some searching it appears that you need 60% or 70% combined (multiple adding up to). I dont know much else than that. If you doctors note holds water, than maybe you will get it.

Good luck!

YES as long as one SVC is rated at 60%.  Contact a good VSO asap and get it filed.
