In some warrior tribes; this [cord of life] is treated in different ways . If the baby is a boy, the cord is buried on a battlefield, If the baby is a girl; close to a house; so as to instill in the boy ; the increments of a fighter; or a girl; the instincts of nurturing and caring for a family. Life is a strange and complicated thing. Ever sat close to a MATERNITY WARD? The noise is enough to drive you batty; Then; if you have attended your own child's birth; a miracle takes place.[ but the worry persists.]My first child[ a girl], somehow decided to reverse and turn on her approach to the world;[ I. damn near died of fright]. Her cord was caught around her neck, and she released her bowels. AINT LIFE GRAND?

Just a country boy from Bathurst N.S.W. Bathurst was the first major town established after the mountain range [ known as the great dividing range was crossed]; It is now a CITY.
