It has puzzled me for years; this mad scenario, where Infantry wander along beside 50 ton monsters [who make a great deal of noise], and attract a GREAT AMOUNT of fire; both rockets and small arms.[The rockets bounce off the sides of Centurion tanks and land on us] We may as well have blaring loudspeakers screaming" here we are ; here we are; come and get us" SHEER Stupidity.Then, to have the tanks charging around in their own little war; firing Splintex rounds, here, there and everywhere. One, fired a round close to my left side and deafened me.and I am  deaf in my left ear.[partly deaf in my right ear] WE WON THAT FIGHT ANY OLD HOW[ with the tanks assistance].
