ex 1RAR [Vietnam] EX4RAR[Borneo]

I met this guy [ former U.S.N. ] in Australia and kept in contact for several years. Tom was retired and married an Australian. He served upon the USS New Jersey as gunnery officer. we had a heap of good times and exchanged letters and message tapes and gifts. Lately, due to illness, I have not been in touch. Does any member know Tom?

Just a country boy from Bathurst N.S.W. Bathurst was the first major town established after the mountain range [ known as the great dividing range was crossed]; It is now a CITY.
