Hello everybody,

I'm forming an amateur auto road racing team and I'm seeking 4 disabled vets in NY, NJ and CT (within 50 miles of NYC) to join me.  If you or anybody you know is interested, please visit our project page at http://www.trackvids.com/racing4vets.php for information on how to apply, etc.

This is an amateur racing team which will compete in SCCA and NASA road races in the Northeast starting in 2012.  The roles are unpaid but expenses will be covered.  I am funding a big part to get it started and we will also seek sponsorship and donations.

The 4 team roles are driver(s), crew chief, technology/video/data specialist, and PR/marketing/sponsorship, although we will all participate in multiple roles. Longer term I want to grow the team into a national organization to support disabled vets in motor racing, so there could be long term employment opportunities.  This is a great opportunity for motor sports enthusiasts to have a lot of fun and learn to build a racing team!
