Then Glenn Beck expressed his opinion that the Purple Heart Medal of Honor is some progressive invention which distorted a previous award called the “Badge of Merit”. Glenn had the audacity to insult the importance of the Purple Heart. He believes soldiers were receiving the Purple Heart for just getting wounded. However, from Glenn Beck’s point of view, the Purple Heart should be given to those that went beyond that.

What is Glenn's problem? Is anyone else extremely offended by this? Why does Glenn even have to open his mouth about this?
