My name is Ruben from the Chicago area. I am a U.S. Army veteran who is being evicted out of my home that I've had for 8 years. My house was foreclosed on and the bank is giving me 5 weeks to get out.

I have been unemployed for about 2 years and I have no place to go. I did land a temporary job, but it won't start until next month. I will probably end up going to a homeless shelter or try to rent out a cheap room if I can save enough money by that time.

Currently, I have all my belongings and things in my house that I have collected over the years and I have no place to put them.

I am willing to give away some free stuff, but if you can offer me a few bucks for whatever you take it will help me out so much. Please buy/donate money to me by taking my stuff. No reasonable prices refused!!

I have furniture (couch, tables, chairs, entertainment center, etc...), collectibles (like authentic beer steins that I have collected over 20 years ago when I was stationed in Germany, Decorative ornamental eggs, decorative plates, samurai swords), household items, TV, Stereo, DVD, VHS, mirrors, refrigerator, wine refrigerator, books, CDs, and just about any thing a house may have.

Please, please take my stuff because I won't be able to take them when I have no real place to live. Everything must go, but I encourage you to buy/donate when you take something because I really need some money right now. I'll swallow my pride and give away a few things, but if you can give me a few bucks for whatever you take, I can use that to rent a room or it will help me survive until I start my new job while I am living at a homeless shelter.

I hate to lose all my stuff that I've collected over the years, but I have no choice.

Please call me to set up a time to come by. My name again is Ruben, I live in Berkeley, Illinois (which is a Chicago Suburb by Melrose Park/Stone Park/Westmont/Elmhurst/Lombard).

My cell phone is: (708)829-1595

I feel bad for you Rueben, hopefully things work out. I took a minute to update the state benifits with your state, it seems there are quite a bit of benifits from your state, check them out see if they can help you!

Good luck to you!
