Hello,

CNN News gives $200,000 to whomever is chosen as the CNN Hero.  One of the candidates is a widow of a vet who started an organization to help other veteran's widows.  The hero is chosen, at this point, by the public.  You can vote 10 times a day at this site:

http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/cnn.heroes/

(I can't remember the woman's entire name, but her first name is Taryn.)  All of the heroes are noteworthy, but I believe that we need to help families left behind by those brave persons who served their country.

ps -- I don't know this lady.  I'm also not a vet.  I hope you'll overlook my coming onto your site for this matter.  My brother is a Vietnam vet, though.  He was a paratrooper out of Ft. Bragg, NC
